BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) has organised the "M&J Group Presents BUFT National Quiz Competition 2025."

The event, powered by Giant Group, took place on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the BUFT Auditorium in Nishatnagar, Turag, Dhaka.

The competition was inaugurated by Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of BUFT and Former President of BGMEA, who attended as the chief guest.

Mohammed Nasir, Member of the BoT, BUFT, attended as the special guest. Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Acting Vice Chancellor of BUFT, presided over the ceremony.

The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Jalil, Dean of the Faculty of Sciences and Convener of the Competition. The program was moderated by Mohammad Imtiaj, Director of Public Relations at BUFT and Member Secretary of the Competition.

The day-long competition brought together over 500 college students selected from qualifiers held across the country.

Participants first faced a second MCQ round, from which 20 teams advanced to the quarterfinals. Six teams then moved to the semifinals (Buzzer Round), and four teams qualified for the Grand Finale, which featured Audio-Visual and Rapid-Fire rounds.

Government Science College emerged as the champion, with Dhaka College securing the 1st runner-up position. Bir Sreshtho Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College became the 2nd runner-up.

Md. Iftiyaf Ahnaf Shachchho, a student from Government Science College, was honored as the Best Participant.

Distinguished guests, faculty members, parents, officers, and senior journalists attended the event.

The competition was organised in association with the BUFT Brand Ambassador Team. It concluded with an award ceremony, a group photo session, and a cultural program and fashion runway supported by the BUFT Heritage Club and BUFT Cultural Club.
