On 4 February 2024, Oleg Kononenko broke Gennady Padalka's record for the most cumulative days in space. He then became the first person to reach 900, 1,000, and 1,100 cumulative days in space over five missions, with his last mission ending on 23 September 2024. All of the top six astronauts are Russian.
