Pritom Hasan joins forces with Bangladesh Army for Prohori
Pritom Hasan has unveiled a cinematic new music video, 'Prohori,' created in collaboration with the Bangladesh Army. Released on 15 January 2026, the project merges contemporary music production with a dedicated militarised narrative.
The video, directed by Monzur Anik and captured by cinematographer Tahsin Rahman, eschews traditional storytelling for a rhythmic display of military life. Featuring authentic footage of personnel, training drills, and operational exercises, the visuals serve as a central language of discipline rather than a mere backdrop.
Musically, Hasan serves as both composer and producer, blending live instrumentation—including drums, guitar, and keytar—with electronic elements. The result is a layered, expansive soundscape that mirrors the precision of the imagery. Produced by 'A Long Story Production', the track is dedicated to the nation's fallen heroes and active-duty soldiers.
By blending themes of vigilance and sacrifice into the song's form, 'Prohori' positions Pritom as a composer capable of matching modern sound to institutional symbolism. The release marks a significant patriotic milestone in his career, where music and national identity move in lockstep.
