Peacock drops red-band trailer for Ted season 2
Peacock has released a red-band trailer for Season 2 of Ted, signalling the return of Seth MacFarlane's foul-mouthed teddy bear for another round of outrageous, pot-fuelled chaos.
Set in 1990s Framingham, Massachusetts, the prequel series continues to follow Ted and his human best friend John as they stumble their way through senior year of high school — still outsiders, still unapologetically immature.
The trailer teases an escalation of the show's trademark humour, promising plenty of drug jokes, sexual misadventures, Dungeons & Dragons antics and general bad behaviour. Despite Ted's clearly questionable influence, the series maintains its emotional core, highlighting the loyalty and friendship that underpin the pair's relationship.
All eight episodes of the second season will debut on Peacock on 5 March. The show first premiered in January 2024 and quickly emerged as one of the streamer's most successful original titles.
Returning cast members include MacFarlane as the voice and motion capture performer for Ted, alongside Max Burkholder, Scott Grimes, Allanna Ubach and Giorgia Whigham. MacFarlane also serves as writer, director, executive producer and co-showrunner, joined by Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh.
Peacock is additionally developing an animated sequel series tied to the Ted film franchise, reuniting much of the original movie cast.
