Bongo, one of Bangladesh's largest digital entertainment platforms, has officially been recognised as YouTube's Multi-Channel Network (MCN) in the country, marking a major milestone for the local creator economy.

With more than 30 million subscribers across its branded networks, Bongo earned the designation through its long-standing track record in supporting creators, managing monetisation, and ensuring policy compliance on YouTube, reads a press release.

Bongo Studios, the platform's creator-focused arm, has been working with digital creators for over a decade and now operates under YouTube's official MCN framework.

As an authorised YouTube Partner, Bongo provides creators with technical support on algorithms, monetisation systems, copyright protection, and channel health. Its MCN team works closely with creators to optimise content performance while reducing risks related to policy violations and copyright claims.

Beyond platform support, Bongo offers an end-to-end growth ecosystem for creators. This includes its Content Accelerator Program, which provides targeted funding to improve production quality and scale content output. Creators also gain access to studio facilities, professional equipment, post-production services, and data-driven SEO and audience growth strategies based on global best practices.

Monetisation opportunities extend beyond AdSense, with Bongo connecting creators to brand partnerships, sponsorships, and influencer marketing campaigns, offering advertisers a brand-safe route to reach large digital audiences.

"The goal has always been to build a sustainable ecosystem where creators can focus on their craft while we handle the business of growth," said Nabila Sajjad, deputy COO of Bongo. "Through our MCN and Content Accelerator Program, we are empowering creators to grow sustainably while offering advertisers access to high-quality digital storytelling."

Creators working within the Bongo MCN said the model is already delivering results.

Rakib Hossain, who manages multiple YouTube channels under Bongo, said growth across his platforms accelerated after joining the network, while film producer Jahid Hasan Abhi described Bongo's financing and studio support as "game-changers" for serious creators.

With its official MCN status, Bongo is positioning itself at the forefront of content innovation and creator professionalisation in Bangladesh's rapidly expanding digital economy.
