United Finance recognised for digital innovation in NBFI sector
United Finance PLC has won the 3rd Bangladesh Fintech Award in the Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI) category for its innovation—the United Finance Mobile App (UMA).
The award was presented to Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director of United Finance, by Hassan O Rashid, Chief Executive Officer of Prime Bank. Dr Ahsan H Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, attended the ceremony as Chief Guest, held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka.
UMA is the only mobile app in the NBFI sector offering a fully digital account-opening experience. Customers can access real-time balances, download statements and certificates, and request services directly from their smartphones. With its intuitive design and seamless functionality, UMA empowers users with complete control over their financial activities, earning praise for its user-centric approach.
