Cultural organisation Raktakarabi presented a musical feature titled "O Alor Pothojatri" on Sunday, as a tribute to the memory of the martyred intellectuals, artistes, and writers of the Liberation War, and to mark Victory Day.

Artistes of Raktakarabi performed the war-time songs of awakening in the evening at the Sugat Prasad Barua Muktamancha.

The programme began with a chorus performance, accompanied by lighting of lamps on the stage. A narrative of the Liberation War by music exponent Shila Momen followed.

Raktakarabi's artistes then performed a number of songs one by one, including those favoured by different martyred intellectuals.

The event concluded with all the artistes singing the title song "O Alor Pothojatri".
