Content creator Ashraful Alom, popularly known as Hero Alom, was arrested in Dhaka's Hatirjheel today.

He was arrested around 12:30pm, following an arrest warrant issued by a Dhaka court in connection with an attempted murder case filed by his former wife Ria Moni, Hatirjheel Police Station's Inspector (investigation) Meer Md Sazzad Hossain confirmed.

Police said the case against Alom includes allegations of attempted murder, assault, and issuing threats.

On Wednesday, Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Wahiduzzaman issued the warrant after Alom reportedly failed to appear before the court.
