The benchmark index DSEX of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) dropped by 1.70% or 80 points in the first 30 minutes of today's (16 November) trading session, extending the massive downfall to the second consecutive session.

During the session till 10:30, the DSEX settled at 4,622 points, while the blue-chip DS30 index tumbled by 37 points to close at 1,813.

Of the traded stocks, 244 declined, while 61 advanced, and 39 remained unchanged.

On Thursday, the DSEX dropped by 122 points.
