Two crude bombs exploded near the residence of Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan in Dhaka's Central Road while another went off near the National Citizen Party (NCP) office in Banglamotor area tonight.

Around 9:00pm, miscreants hurled crude bombs on the road between Ideal College and the adviser's residence on Central Road, Deputy Commissioner Masud Alam of DMP's Ramna Division told The Daily Star.

"I visited the scene. The crude bombs exploded on the road near Ideal College, while the adviser's residence is located in a nearby alley," he added.

No injuries were reported.

Another crude bomb went off near the NCP office in Banglamotor intersection around 9:30pm, said Mazharul Islam, Assistant Commissioner of DMP's Ramna Zone.

NCP Joint Member Secretary and Media Cell Secretary Mushfiq Us Salehin also confirmed the incident.
