Comilla University to host CoUMUN 2025 in November
The Comilla University Model United Nations Association (CoUMUNA) has announced the fifth edition of its flagship academic conference, Comilla University Model United Nations 2025 (CoUMUN 2025), which will take place from 27 to 29 November 2025 on the university campus.
Organised by CoUMUNA, the event will continue its tradition of promoting diplomacy, leadership and intellectual engagement among young people.
The central theme of this year's conference, "Synergistic Leadership: Converging Vision into Verdict for Tomorrow", highlights the power of collective vision and collaboration in shaping a better world. It aims to inspire participants to move beyond individual perspectives, engage in inclusive dialogue and turn ideas into practical, sustainable solutions. The theme reflects CoUMUNA's broader vision of uniting diverse minds to bridge differences and drive global change through considered leadership and purposeful action.
Spanning three days, CoUMUN 2025 will bring together students, youth leaders and aspiring diplomats from across Bangladesh. Delegates will participate in debates, policy discussions and networking sessions designed to enhance critical thinking, communication and negotiation skills. The programme will feature an opening ceremony with distinguished guests and university officials, a cultural evening celebrating diversity and creativity, and a closing ceremony recognising outstanding performances.
Reflecting on the event, CoUMUNA President Imtyaj Ahamed Chinmoy said CoUMUN 2025 embodies the spirit of collaboration and the determination of youth to create meaningful change. "Each edition of CoUMUN stands as a testament to the growing impact of student diplomacy and the power of dialogue in addressing real-world challenges," he said.
