BNP to reveal key standing committee decisions at press brief today
BNP will hold a press conference in Dhaka today (11 November) to announce the decisions taken at the latest meeting of its National Standing Committee.
Party sources said that the current political situation of the country will also be highlighted at the press conference.
The press conference is scheduled to take place at 12 noon at the political office of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in Gulshan.
Confirming the press briefing's schedule, Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, said the briefing will outline the decisions adopted in the meeting held last night (10 November).
Yesterday's standing committee meeting was chaired by the party's Acting Chairman, Tarique Rahman, who joined virtually from the United Kingdom.
Those who took part in the meeting included standing committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir (joined virtually), Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Abdul Moyeen Khan, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Selina Rahman, Major (Retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, and AZM Zahid Hossain.
