Police recovered at least 35 crude bombs along with bomb-making material from Mohammadpur's Geneva Camp this evening.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Talebur Rahman confirmed the development at 6:47pm.

Kazi Rafique, officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur Police Station, said based on intel that crude bombs were being prepared in the area, police conducted a drive and seized the material.

He said the crude bombs will be defused later. The operation was still ongoing around 6:45pm.

Over the last few days, miscreants hurled crude bombs and set several vehicles on fire in Dhaka city and other districts leading up to the "lockdown" announced by Awami League on November 13.
