25 years, 50 tickets: Book celebrates Bangladesh's Test cricket journey
The Bangladesh Cricket Museum has introduced a commemorative book titled Memorable Match Tickets, marking 25 years since Bangladesh's debut in Test cricket.
The book presents the history of Bangladesh's Test journey through 50 match tickets selected from the private collection of cricket memorabilia collector Zunaid Paiker.
The book begins with Bangladesh's first Test match on 10 November 2000 and continues through milestones up to the present.
Each preserved ticket is presented as a record of key matches and moments that reflect the development of the national team and the emotions surrounding its growth over the past quarter-century.
Speaking about the initiative, Zunaid Paiker said the project was created as a tribute to Bangladesh's evolving cricket culture.
"These tickets are more than souvenirs. They symbolise our cricketing journey and growth," he said, adding that the book aims to honour the memories and sentiments tied to Bangladesh cricket.
Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam Bulbul expressed appreciation for the initiative, saying each ticket featured in the book represents a story, moment or milestone that contributes to the country's cricketing identity.
The book has been published jointly by the Bangladesh Cricket Museum and Gripper Mark. It will be available from 10 November 2025 exclusively through the Bangladesh Cricket Museum website.
