Barely a week after the explosion near Delhi's Red Fort, the capital has been gripped by fresh terror fears following a series of bomb threats.

An email purportedly from the Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed warned of attacks on multiple prominent courts and schools this morning (18 November), spreading panic across Delhi.

According to reports, authorities received the threatening email around 9am. The message specified that bomb attacks would be carried out on Tuesday at several locations. In response, officials immediately evacuated staff from schools and court premises, suspending hearings and other routine activities.

The threats targeted courts in Dwarka, Saket, Patiala House, and Rohini, while two CRPF schools located in Dwarka and Prashant Vihar were also warned of planted explosives. Students, teachers, and staff were immediately evacuated, and the police, along with bomb squad personnel, rushed to the sites. Fire services were also alerted, and security across the affected areas was increased. So far, no suspicious items have been found.

The latest scare comes in the wake of the 10 November car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort, which claimed at least 13 lives and left several injured. The central government has already classified that incident as a terrorist attack, prompting increased security across the capital.

Tuesday's threats add to a growing climate of fear. A day prior, bomb threats had also been reported at the residences of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, and actors Ajith Kumar, Arvind Swamy, and Khushbu. These were later confirmed to be false alarms.
