Implementation of July Charter will be known in 2-3 days: Asif Nazrul
The implementation of the July Charter will be known within the next two to three days, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr Asif Nazrul said today (11 November).
"We expected political parties to hold discussions among themselves and give us a unified directive. But we did not sit idly with that expectation. We worked in our own way. Within the next three to four days, you will clearly know what steps we have taken regarding the implementation of the charter," he said at the Judicial Administration Training Institute in the capital after a views‑exchange meeting on Legal Aid Services (Amendment) Ordinance 2025.
"We are discussing this at different levels of the Advisory Council. By coordinating the expectations of all parties, we are going to do whatever is necessary in the interest of the country and the people," he added.
Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman, Law and Justice Division Secretary Liaquat Ali Mollah, former district judge Motahar Hossain, BLAST Executive Director Barrister Sara Hossain, and Special Consultant to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Barrister Tanim Hussain Shawon were present in the meeting.
