Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury has missed his scheduled flight to Dhaka and boarded a later flight, confirmed Bangladesh team's manager Amer Khan.

Hamza was scheduled to land in Dhaka at 12:00 pm today, but will now arrive later in the evening.

"Hamza missed his flight due to traffic, as we were told by his agent, who informed us that he will arrive in the evening instead," Amer told The Daily Star.

Hamza will have a day's rest before starting training tomorrow for the November 13 friendly against Nepal and the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers fixture against India on November 18, both matches in Dhaka.

Meanwhile, Shamit Shome is expected to arrive in Dhaka on late Tuesday night. The Canada-based midfielder played in the Canadian Premier League final,which his team, Cavalry FC lost 2-1 in extra time against Atletico Ottawa.
