Several concerts announced this year have been cancelled at the last minute. Organisers ran promotional campaigns and even sold tickets. Music lovers have recently expressed frustration over the cancellation of Atif Aslam's concert. Miles band member Hamin Ahmed has now accused organisers over these last-minute concert cancellations.

The recent wave of concert cancellations due to promotional campaigns and ticket sales without proper authorisation has created disappointment among fans, musicians, and organisers alike. Hamin stated, "Get all the approved permits first, then promote the concert and sell tickets, simple! Stop lying, making foolish excuses, and causing trouble for music lovers! You're ruining the concert environment."

Multiple major concerts were scheduled to take place in Dhaka over the past few weeks. Recently, Pakistani singer Atif Aslam's December 13 concert in Dhaka was cancelled at the last minute. The organisers failed to properly secure necessary local permits, security clearances, and logistics, making it impossible to hold the event. Atif himself sadly announced this on Facebook. Additionally, concerts by Bangladeshi and foreign artistes in Dhaka are being postponed or cancelled due to permit complications, security concerns, or administrative decisions. As a result, even though audiences buy tickets in large numbers, shows don't happen, creating frustration and anger due to broken promises. These circumstances prompted Hamin Ahmed to make his post.

Hamin Ahmed said that those ruining the concert environment by running promotional campaigns without permits and selling tickets beforehand should stop. This ultimately damages both fans' sentiments and artistes' reputations. He urged musicians and organisers to pay attention to government regulations and security requirements to ensure popular events can be successfully implemented.
