Doctors are waiting for the health condition of Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi to stabilise before proceeding with surgery.

Hadi is currently undergoing treatment in Singapore following the recent shooting incident.

In a Facebook post, Inqilab Moncho said doctors first need to ensure that his body is fully stabilised before preparing him for an operation. The surgery may take place either in Singapore or in England.

According to the post, surgery is necessary to activate the brain, and the immediate priority is to restore the connection between the brain and the body. All other organs are functioning, except the brain, doctors said.

The family of Hadi has called for special prayers for his recovery, it added.

Hadi was shot on December 12 in Dhaka's Paltan area and was flown to Singapore on December 15 following a directive from Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus.
