Fakir Technologies launches “ZERO” to power a greener energy future
Fakir Technologies Limited, a concern of the Fakir Fashion Group, has launched "ZERO", Bangladesh's first multiscale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), marking a major leap toward a smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable energy future.
With a mission to transform Bangladesh's energy landscape, Fakir Technologies has deployed three scalable BESS models under the ZERO brand — ZERO Max, ZERO Mid, and ZERO Nano — designed to meet the power needs of industries, commercial establishments, and households by integrating seamlessly with both solar and grid power sources.
The ZERO systems ensure uninterrupted and cost-effective electricity supply, significantly reducing dependency on diesel generators, carbon emissions, noise pollution, and maintenance expenses.
ZERO Max (1–10 MW): Designed for large-scale industries, data centres, hospitals, and government institutions, offering an advanced and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional power systems.
ZERO Mid (100–800 kW): Tailored for small and medium factories, offices, and commercial buildings seeking affordable and reliable energy resilience.
ZERO Nano (5–60 kW): A compact solution for residential and small-office use, ensuring continuous power supply in all weather conditions.
Fakir Technologies has already set a new benchmark in the country's industrial energy sector by successfully installing a 1 MW ZERO BESS at Fakir Fashion Ltd, demonstrating the system's scalability and real-world impact.
Fakir Kamruzzaman Nahid, Managing Director of Fakir Technologies Ltd, said,
"Our new addition, ZERO, not only showcases the capability of BESS but also sets a new benchmark for power reliability in the industrial sector. Based on our experience, a 1 MW ZERO BESS can reduce up to 661 tonnes of carbon emissions annually — a significant stride toward a greener, more sustainable Bangladesh."
To ensure long-term reliability, Fakir Technologies has also established a state-of-the-art Battery Service Centre, equipped with advanced diagnostic and repair facilities to provide comprehensive post-sales support for all ZERO systems.
As Bangladesh accelerates its renewable energy transition, ZERO BESS represents a pioneering step toward energy independence, emission reduction, and sustainable innovation — empowering industries and households to embrace a cleaner, smarter future.
