Emirates is set to introduce Starlink Wi-Fi across its entire in-service fleet, commencing with Boeing 777 aircraft in November 2025 and concluding the rollout by mid-2027.

The complimentary, high-speed service will provide internet performance comparable to that on the ground, even at cruising altitude.

With Starlink, passengers will be able to stream, play online games, make calls, work, and browse social media throughout the flight — both on seatback screens and personal devices.

The airline will equip all 232 aircraft in its operating fleet with the technology over the next two years.

Its first Starlink-enabled aircraft, the Boeing 777-300ER (A6-EPF), is currently on display at the Dubai Airshow, where visitors may experience the onboard connectivity firsthand.

The aircraft will operate the first Emirates commercial flight featuring Starlink immediately after the Airshow, initiating a fast-tracked, fleet-wide installation programme.

Each Boeing 777 will be fitted with two antennae, while each Airbus A380 will receive three — an industry first — to maximise coverage, capacity, and speed across all cabin classes.

Starlink Wi-Fi will be available free of charge to all passengers on Emirates aircraft equipped with this service.
