Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) has signed an Online Payment Gateway and ZIP agreement with CliniCall Ltd, a leading telemedicine platform in Bangladesh, to facilitate secure digital transactions and enhance customer convenience.

M Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail and SME Banking of EBL, and Parvez Ahmad, Chief Operating Officer of CliniCall, signed the agreement at the bank's head office in Dhaka recently.

Also present at the signing ceremony were Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury, Head of Digital Financial Services, and Tasnim Hussain, Head of Cards of EBL; along with Shaba Shams, Head of Technology of CliniCall, and other senior officials from both organisations.

The collaboration aims to streamline cashless payment solutions for CliniCall users through EBL's digital payment infrastructure, reinforcing both institutions' shared commitment to promoting digital innovation in healthcare.
