A crude bomb exploded outside the Grameen Bank headquarters in Dhaka's Mirpur early today, police said.The explosion occurred around 3:45am on the road in front of the office, said Sajjad Roman, officer-in-charge of Mirpur Model Police Station."Two miscreants on a motorcycle arrived and hurled the crude bomb in front of the road of the Grameen Bank," the OC said.Police later visited the scene and began efforts to identify and arrest those involved in what the OC described as "an act of sabotage"...
A crude bomb exploded outside the Grameen Bank headquarters in Dhaka's Mirpur early today, police said.
The explosion occurred around 3:45am on the road in front of the office, said Sajjad Roman, officer-in-charge of Mirpur Model Police Station.
"Two miscreants on a motorcycle arrived and hurled the crude bomb in front of the road of the Grameen Bank," the OC said.
Police later visited the scene and began efforts to identify and arrest those involved in what the OC described as "an act of sabotage".
No casualties or damage were reported in the incident.
