Business idea competition season 2 held at ISU
The Business Club of International Standard University (ISU) organised the 'Business Idea Competition Season 2' on Sunday at the university's Mohakhali campus, where ISU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Abdul Awal Khan presented prizes to the champion and runners-up teams.
Addressing the participants, the vice-chancellor encouraged students to continue developing innovative business ideas. "Where there is a problem, there is potential. Only business can transform your current position and accelerate your journey forward," he said.
"This is the era of youth, and their rise always inspires me," he added. "You must move forward with ideas that can shape not only businesses but also nations. Alongside theoretical knowledge, the ability to innovate and develop creative ideas will set you apart."
The judging panel comprised S M Naser Iqbal, adviser to the ISU Business Club; Farzana Chowdhury, moderator of the club; SK Shoaib Ahmed, lecturer in the Department of English; and Mayesha Afia Zarin, lecturer in the Department of Law.
Faculty members, including Dr Muhammad Kamruzzaman, chairperson of the Department of Business Administration, attended the event, along with students from various departments.
Team Green Lanterns — Tohid Ahmed Upom and Laijul Karim Jishan of BBA 9th Batch — were declared champions, while Team Future Frame — Muarrif Billah, Shayla Shabnam, and Sadia Akter of LLB 1st Batch — finished as runners-up.
