Banglalink, Bangladesh's leading digital operator, has appointed Kazi Mahboob Hassan as its new Chief Marketing Officer as the company moves to accelerate its digital services and enhance customer experience nationwide.

Kazi brings over two decades' leadership experience across telecommunications, technology, and finance. He has a strong track record of driving transformative growth, leading digital innovation, and shaping customer-centric strategies in some of South Asia's most competitive markets.

He most recently served as the founding CEO of r ventures PLC, where he built a high-performing digital ecosystem from scratch. Prior to that, as CIO of Robi Axiata, he led major advancements in ICT, IoT, cyber security, and large-scale IT transformation, ensuring robust digital service delivery with near-zero downtime.

Kazi has also held senior roles at Delhivery, Grameenphone, Deloitte UK, and IBM UK, working across multiple markets and industries. He has supported global clients – including Deutsche Telekom and Unilever – on large-scale transformation, digitalisation, and growth initiatives.

He holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), and is an alumnus of IBA, University of Dhaka.
