Bangladesh have been drawn in Group A with former champions China, hosts Thailand and Vietnam in the upcoming AFC Under-20 Women's Asian Cup set to take place between April 1-18.

The official draw for the tournament took place in Bangkok on Monday, where the 12 participating teams were divided into three groups of four.

Group B will see reigning champions North Korea being challenged by two-time winners South Korea, Uzbekistan and Jordan.

Japan, who have won the competition a record six times, head Group C -- with Australia, Chinese Taipei and India.

The top two teams from each group and the two best second-placed sides will advance to the quarter-finals.

The top four finishers at the finals will qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Poland 2026, with North Korea the defending champions.

Group A: Bangladesh, Thailand, China PR, Vietnam

Group B: North Korea, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Jordan

Group C: Japan, Australia, Chinese Taipei, India
