5 winners from Bangladesh, India, and UK strike gold in Big Ticket’s latest draw
Five lucky participants from Bangladesh, India, and the UK have each won a 250-gram 24-karat gold bar in Big Ticket's third weekly draw for October.
According to a report by Khaleej Times, among the winners was 31-year-old Bangladeshi salesman Md Haider Ali Md Ibrahim, who has been living in Al Ain for the past five years and works at an electronics shop. After two years of trying his luck, Haider finally won with Big Ticket.
"When I got the call yesterday, I was very happy; it was such a big surprise," he said, adding that the win has motivated him to continue participating. "Big Ticket's process is very easy," he added.
Haider first learned about Big Ticket through a phone call and began purchasing tickets regularly, often teaming up with four to five friends each month in hopes of winning.
Another winner, Libin Baby Baby, a 35-year-old quality control instructor from Kerala, India, shared his excitement after getting the winning call. "I was on-site when I got the call from Big Ticket, I was completely surprised!" he said.
Libin, who has lived in the UAE for one and a half years, said he plans to share the prize with his group of 11 friends who buy tickets together monthly. "I will continue purchasing Big Ticket every month, hoping for more wins in the future," he added.
Meanwhile, Nicholas Luden from the UK said he was "overjoyed" upon discovering that his in-store ticket, number 280-156157, had won.
Two other winners from India, Nagarajan Venkataraman and Manjusha Puthiyaveetil, also purchased their winning tickets online - ticket numbers 280-241818 and 280-273857, respectively. Both described their wins as moments of "pure joy".
With one weekly draw left in October, Big Ticket still has five gold bars up for grabs. The company is also gearing up for its Dh25 million grand prize, to be announced during the November 3 live draw.
Additionally, customers who purchase two tickets between October 1 and 24 will automatically enter The Big Win Contest, where four participants will get the chance to win up to Dh150,000 in cash prizes. The winners will be announced on November 1 via Big Ticket's official website.

The final weekly E-draw for October will be held on 1 November.
