Workshop on communication and personality development held in Chattogram
A workshop on communication and personality development was held at Kapasgola City Corporation Mohila College in Chattogram, drawing the participation of a large number of students and young professionals.
Titled "Brilliance in Speech & Shape Up Your Personality," the event was organised by Nahid's English Learning Center with support from English Therapy. The Business Standard played the role of media partner at the event.
The organisers said the programme is part of a citywide initiative that will be extended to more than 32 colleges in Chattogram, aiming to reach thousands of students.
The daylong sessions focused on improving English speaking, public communication, leadership expression, and professional self-grooming. Participants took part in practical exercises, interactive discussions, and mentoring sessions.
Trainers from Bangladesh and abroad conducted the sessions. Among them were Shahriar Ahmed, Alexander Botos from Luxembourg, Md Raihanul Islam, Nahid Moin, Citra Ruli from Indonesia, Raihan-Ul Karim Sowrab, Rajani Thapa from Nepal, and Tasnim Ahammed.
Other guests and facilitators included Saiful Islam, CEO of English Therapy; Shamima Shila, founder of BATI; Dr Masum; Saad Mustafiz Anindo, CEO of Bangla Content; and several young professionals and educators from Chattogram.
The workshop was coordinated by the college principal, Noor Banu Chowdhury, and an assistant professor of English, Rajib Saha.
Speaking at the event, Nahid Moin, founder of Nahid's English Learning Center, said the initiative aims to help young learners build confidence and improve their ability to express themselves effectively in academic and professional settings.
Organisers said more such workshops will be arranged in the coming months to promote communication skills and leadership qualities among students across Chattogram.
