Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has been discharged from Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday morning, bringing relief to his family and fans after days of concern and rumours about his health.

Sunny Deol shared, "Mr Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family's privacy during this time." 

Sunny Deol also expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans for their constant prayers and good wishes, saying, "We appreciate everyone's love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you."

The update came after two days of widespread rumours on social media falsely claiming that Dharmendra had passed away. The family, including Hema Malini, Esha Deol, and Bobby Deol, quickly dismissed the fake reports and reassured everyone that the veteran star was responding well to treatment.

Dr Pratit Samdani from Breach Candy Hospital said, "Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7:30 am. He will be treated at home as the family has decided to continue his care there."

Throughout his stay, the actor was surrounded by his family, including his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, daughter Esha Deol, and other relatives such as Abhay Deol. Several Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan were also seen visiting Dharmendra at the hospital to wish him well.

As Dharmendra continues his recovery at home, fans are sending love and prayers to the beloved actor, whose enduring charm and humility have made him one of Hindi cinema's most cherished icons.
