The final results of the 49th (special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination have been published, with a total of 668 candidates provisionally recommended for appointment.

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday night.

According to the notification, out of 683 vacant posts in the BCS (General Education) cadre in the 49th BCS, the PSC has recommended 668 candidates, who passed the viva voce, for recruitment.

PSC also said that the rest of the posts could not be filled due to the absence of qualified candidates for those positions.
